Hello Everyone!

This is one of the latest commissions I have been working on. I was recently asked by a friend if I would take some photographs for her new book. 

Laura Krippner is a local free-from baker who has recently released her first recipe book - The Twice as Nice Guide. The book features her Award Winning recipes as well as lots of her fantastic Gluten Free and Dairy Free bakes. 

Laura contacted me to ask if I would photograph some of her bakes so that the images could be used within the book. I was thrilled to be asked and was happy to help. It was a really fun project to work on and a type of photography I hadn’t done for a long time. 

I took a few different images so that Laura could choose the ones she liked the most …

… Eventually Laura chose two images for the book. 

I was especially excited to see that one of the images I had taken was chosen to be the cover image! Yay! 

This really was a fun project to work on and it really reminded me just how much I enjoy Food Photography - Its definitely something which I hope to keep working on!

Hello Everyone and Welcome!

I have decided to set up this blog so that I can keep you all up-to-date with my latest photography work and anything else that might be interesting - I’ve never written a personal blog before so you’ll have to bear with me!

I’m hoping that the blog will allow me to show case both my work as a photographer as well as any new projects I work on. I do spend a lot of time taking photographs outside of my paid work and so I’m hoping that this will be an opportunity to share these photographs with you! 

Recently I have been establishing my new social media accounts so that I can promote my work in a variety of ways and I am also endeavouring  to make my way through the thousands upon thousands of images I have contained on my hard drives; so I’m hoping to be able to share some of my previous work with you as well.  

Anyway I will keep this short for now … but please check back for further updates over the next few weeks!
